What is PEACE? PEACE is a community-based project established by the Prevention & Training Branch of the Department of Mental Health & Substance Abuse, with guidance by the Governor's PEACE Council and the State Epidemiological Work group. PEACE strives to:
Monique is a member of the Governor's PEACE Council. She has spent countless hours helping to mentor Guam's youth as prevention advocates. She was once a participant during one of Guam's Youth for Youth Conference when she was in middle school and in 2007 she served as the adult chairperson for the 17th Annual Youth for Youth Conference planning committee.
